The office Pod. For many of us working from home is here to stay, with flexibility around work/life balance there’s just loads of benefits. There are however a few draw backs (and we’re not talking missing that latte). One of the key issues with working from home is space – the kitchen table was great to start with, but it’s a kitchen table and when the kids come home, well…. Having your own, quiet home office pod to work from is essential for productivity and wellbeing, and at Pencarrow Cabins we have Office Pods to suit every need and budget!

WHY IS THE OFFICE POD BECOMING SO POPULAR?

Let’s face it, the past couple years have been tough (especially for that café where you got all those delicious lattes from). COVID 19 has created so many different changes in the world, with remote working becoming common place

The Pencarrow Pod provides architectural design and clever engineering to give you a space option that enhances any surroundings, providing great looks and versatility for years to come.

IS IT AN OFFICE POD OR CABIN?

Good question! Basically, a home office Pod or Cabin are the same thing; a very desirable space that provides you and your whānau with additional space. Space that you can work, play or live in depending on your needs. You may even use it for storage.

In our website you will find photos and videos of examples of Pods and rental cabins to get you started on your research. The Pencarrow Pod range in size from a 13sqm to a 18sqm (6x3m), with a range of design options including luxury bathrooms and kitchens.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT POD FOR YOU

Choosing the right designer pod can be tricky, but the experienced team at Pencarrow Cabins are here to help and will support you through concept through to delivery.

Here are a few things to think about:

  • What is the use of your new space going to be? A home office, teenage hang out, music room, yoga studio or maybe a granny flat?
  • What configuration will suit your location (windows, doors, bathrooms, kitchens)
  • What are the boundary considerations do I need to make, and do I need to contact the local council?
  • Are there ways of saving money – (un-painted, differing lining and claddings)
  • Can a transportable building work or will you need to build on site?

It’s always the simple things that make your life easier. Having a good cup of coffee in the morning is sure to set you up for a good day. Having a comfortable desk and chair sets you up for a great year. At Pencarrow Cabins, our Pods are designed to provide you a lifetime of enjoyment.
